Welcome to the ASMP Utah – Mountain West Chapter blog.
It is going to be the goto place for chapter news and event announcements. We have been busy getting a calendar of events together as well as some other exciting things. Keep an eye otu here for more announcements in the next few days.
Most posts will not have comments enabled, but this one does so tell me what you think of using a blog to keep you all updated instead of a barrage of email.

Glad to see the blog is underway. Now all I need is a lesson on RSS. I guess that’s the easiest way to keep updated.

Hi John.
Thanks for stopping by. As for RSS, click the subscribe > entries icon on the right side of the page. Its pretty simple for PC, I’d assume the same for Mac. There is a help menu that answers all your questions

Thanks for getting this going. Everyone may or may not know about Utah’s new(?) sales tax self audit for photographers, but it’s something that requires swift action on everyone’s part. This law seems unfair and onerous to me, but maybe we live in a bubble here in Utah and that’s the way it’s done in the rest of the country. I don’t know. Either way, it’s an extra burden that we don’t really need in tough economic times. Here’s a recent thread that someone sent me which shines some light on the subject.
